OVERLOOK HOSPITAL VIDEO ON DEMAND
Gianettino and Meredith Advertising teamed up with Shamrock to produce two video on demand mini-docs featuring The Stroke Center at Overlook Hospital and their Code Grey team. Under G&M's direction, Shamrock managed the remote shoots at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ, and the nearby heliport. Shamrock also handled writing, voiceover recording and editing. The vignettes featured two patient's success stories and showcased Overlook's state of the art MerciCoil technology.

PRYSMIAN EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS
Prysmian Cables and Systems turned to Shamrock to produce a series of educational videos used to properly train installers how to safely splice their high powered electrical cables and transition joints. Prysmian developed these highly technical educational videos as in-house training applications, and for their clients including ConEd and Hydro Quebec. Utilizing Shamrock's studio and green screen technology, the step by step instructionals included custom graphic design and motion backgrounds. The series of videos were authored to DVD.

AND THEY'RE OFF
The Daily Racing Form chronicled the Triple Crown with regionally syndicated cable preview shows for the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes. Shamrock produced the shows, and handled production, editing and distribution on MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network) and SNY(SportsNetNY).

TAYLOR PR IN GOOD HANDS
Taylor PR (formerly Alan Taylor Communications) is working with Shamrock to develop unique audio and video presentations for client pitches, including a successful creative approach to Allstate Insurance. Shamrock documented a Taylor PR employee going though the process of signing up for an Allstate's car insurance policy; handling the production, location shooting and editing. Shamrock also assisted Taylor with a radio demo for Buckley's Cough Syrup.

START SHOOTING IN HIGH DEFINITION
If you're not shooting in High Definition yet, you should be! As experts in High Definition shooting and editing, Shamrock has added Sony's new XDCam HD that records a variety of HD formats on an optical disk. The XDCam HD provides HD recording in 1080/59.94i, 50i, 29.97P, 25P and native 23.98P, and offers film techniques such as over-cranking, under-cranking and time lapse photography. If you're planning to archive video for the future, we recommend shooting in HD, and down-converting to Standard Definition 4X3 for the present.

THE ASTRA AWARD GOES TO…
Shamrock received an ASTRA Award from NJ CAMA for its work on the Shore Memorial Cable Television Campaign. Working with Red Flannel Group of Freehold, NJ, Shamrock produced a series of four television commercials featuring Shore Memorial Hospital's Centers of Excellence.
